My rabbit loves getting her head pet, she will come to a slidding stop and plow into my hand the second I put it on ground level
But I don't know which she prefers, to get her head scratched or just pet...and she wont tell me either!
Do your rabbits prefer one over the other? which is it? |

I think Bunnies just love fusses . So carry on , she would shy away if she didn't like what you're doing .

One of my girls (Anni) likes to get her necked massaged! I think all bunnies like different things and some like everything!! _________________ Olivia

If my Silk is in the mood, he will run at me and come to a sliding stop too
He loves pats, scratches and massage (tried it out on him last night, worked a treat!)
But this is after a few months of having him, at first he would only let us pat him in the nose and ears, like another rabbit would. Now he will sprawl out on the floor and enjoy being 'scruffed up' all over! _________________

slipper will take whatever as long as she's getting attention when she wants it, she's such a ham. _________________

usually mine hate being stroked, but they both are quite happy (and sometimes seem to enjoy!) their bottoms being scruffed up and wobbled lol. Custard sometimes likes to have her face stroked and ears tugged, too. Flops is a loner, tho _________________

Grassy likes it when the middle finger rubs his forehead/noes while the adjacent fingers rubbing his neck. ... or a lift his lopped ears up and give them a massage oh the endless teeth chittering, i feel so bad when i need to stop! _________________

The kids call Gus's tail his "flinch button" because if you touch it his whole body flinches.
Gus seems to prefer both rubs and scratches. Plus a little bunny back massage and some ear massage too. Too much of the same thing and he hops up and nudges your hand away.

Pancakes loves both. She also loves when I gently lift her ears off her head too. I guess it's kind of like if you lift your hair off the back of your neck; it's nice to get it off there.
She too comes after my hand if I put it down after petting her. The greedy little thing |

Winnie likes the top bit of her tail rubbed and she likes to be stroked from head to butt. I have no idea how to massage her ears or anything but she relaxes at my clumsiness anyway
Do they chatter there teeth when they are happy winnie makes some noise when I pat her but didn't know what it was _________________

Petal, if it's s soft chattering/purring that you are hearing, it means that your bunnies don't think you are clumsy at grooming at all...the opposite actually!
Willoughby usually prefers his face to be stroked, or his ears rubbed. Sometimes he likes his whole body being stroked or ruffled, and sometimes he even tilts his face up for a kiss on his head which is cute. The best is when he sits on the arm of the sofa next to me and we take turns grooming eachother while I watch TV...I notice that I do most of the grooming though _________________
