well i would doubt that anyone had noticed, but i have been gone for a while from the site. that was due to a move, and while they are not dead i feel as though they are. I had to give up 8 of my 9 rabbits and take them to the pound. i have spent a lot of time drinking and crying about this. i still go and take them supplies and veggies
and hay. |

I hope things become easier in time xxxxxx _________________

I'm so sorry to hear about this.
When my boyfriend joined the service we gave away two of our rabbits. It was really hard and I still feel really bad about it. I wish we could have found a way to keep them.
But it is good that you are giving them supplies and hay. I think you may find in time you will feel better as they find good homes. I knew where my buns went to and I knew they'd be happier there, and that made it much better. _________________

one of them was adopted within a few days... the angry orange monster. i hope they can put up with her. my very first rabbit that i have had for five and a half years hates me. she went to the back of her cage and would not let us pet her. Mr. hyde, her bonded mate recognized she was in distress, ran to the back of the cage and threw his body over hers. what a brave little guy. at least he wont turn his back on her. wow do i need a drink bottoms up |

Sometimes life doesn't allow us to fulfill the responsibilities we want to... but it definitely doesn't mean that you're a bad person.
Now, if you said you just got sick/bored of your buns and released them all to the wild to get eaten, then I would question your character . But trying to find them good homes is the best you could do in this situation _________________

<HUGS> so sorry to hear this. You did the best thing you could in the circumstances. It's never easy to give up an animal, but at the end of the day, they will go to good homes and be well loved.
They had great lives with you, and will have great lives with their new owners, too. _________________

I'm so sorry, I can't imagine how you must feel. You can't beat yourself up about it though, you would have done things differently if there was a choice. I'm sure you raised absolutley wonderful rabbits who will be adopted in a flash. Please don't blame yourself. _________________

Oh no!
I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. *huggles*
Sometimes things are just out of our control, don't make it hard on yourself, you are not a bad person.
Hope you will be alright.
Take care! |
