Wally has become a bit of a celebrity in the past few months. I entered him in a week long show and he got first place in his class, which was best of breed for this show! He might have won best of heavyweights, but his coat was not at its best because he was starting to molt.

But probably the most exciting was his appearance on two news stations! The link to the longer video is included after all the pictures. The boy in the vid isn't me (I'm definitely a girl...), but I was worried I wouldn't be able to carry Wallace to the judging table so he was entered under Cody. Haha I had given him answers to all possible questions before the interview, he did a great job. It was amazing to hear people later in the day excited to see the rabbit that was on tv.

Everyone loved Wally! They were amazed that a rabbit could have so much personality. And of course they were impressed by his size... There were cages for all entered rabbits at the show, but I refused to allow Wally to be wedged into some puny, wire-bottomed cage and instead brought his real house and an ex-pen for exercise. I must say I raised an attention whore...when he was in the pen he would follow people that walked by and was basically a complete ham for pets and interaction. Wally's presence was then requested for a rabbit field day a few weeks later, and a lot of people remembered him.

Anyway, here are some pics I took today so he could show off his ribbon.

He had to hold his ribbon, and I held him

Looking stunning

Oh, did you want to sit here? Sorry, seat's taken.

There wasn't really a good-looking way to hang the ribbon, so it's really better that he held it

And the video here

Thanks for looking!

Bandit won second prize in breed at E of E pedigree shows (I lost the stupid certificates not long after Sad ) and won first prize in the pet show the year after. I've still got the rosette in my bedroom.

Well done gorgeous chap! Very Happy

Morning news seems to be the same everywhere I see...

That's so cool, he looked great on TV! You can tell he's made for show biz Laughing Well done to all of you, especially Cody, I'd be so scared to be broadcast like that on TV!

Thank you!

As to him holding the ribbon, it's just something he does. I was holding it next to him for the picture and he reached over and snatched it and started waving it around.
